I was kind of wary because of the high price and prevalence of "friend of the author" reviews, but in the end I chose to read "Capture You." I'm really glad I did. It exceeded all my expectations and despite its length, I found it absorbing- like stay up through the night and into the next day absorbing.I'm not going to reiterate the plot, but there were a few things that I think are worth mentioning, and praising. Firstly, the characters, from the mains to the supporting cast, were wholly believable and fleshed out people. The two MCs, Koichi and Dominick, were so amazing (sequel please). And, I found that Noah and Kristopher's dynamic to be beyond adorable (spinoff maybe?). Everybody, even down to Domick's assistant popped to life as I read.
Also, despite this book being sexy with plenty of sex occurring, the author stretched the sexual tension out between the two MCs in a completely satisfactory way. It was like one massive, toe curling session of foreplay. Sigh. So good.
I really had only two issues with the book- it ended without a sequel or spinoff in sight...and the occasional but annoying typo. There wasn't anything too glaring, just a few things like "to" instead of "too" and stuff like that. I'm nitpicking here, but I guess when you find yourself with such a gem of a story, you hope to have it polished and presented to its most brilliant. Yes, I know, I'm calling "Capture You" a gem, but it's true.
Give it a chance. It's well worth your time and money and you'll be happy you got to experience it in the end!
If you're still unsure, it's free from prime members. I got it that way, but since I'd like to read it again in the future, I've decided to go ahead and plunk down the well worth it $9.99.

Capture You Penelopye L Ericksen 9781453857441 Books Reviews
This was a fun enjoyable read. Their were a few story lines that were left hanging but they could easily be covered in future books focusing on other characters.
The biggest issue I saw was one that so many books I have read in the last few years seem to have. Authors need to proofread instead of depending on spell check. Titled and tilted are both words but titled eyes is nonsense.
In some spots the reader may need to read out loud but the author did a good job at writing dialect.

Well, I must say that I loved this story. The MCs are real and well rounded characters. The plot is solid and interesting, and while there are elements of the story that I feel are left unexplained such as Underwood's antagonism towards Koichi, I loved it!!! There are a few grammatical and editing errors, but they did not bother me at all.
The only reason I am not giving it a five star rating is because I felt that the ending was quite abrupt as if the author forgot a couple of chapters. Nothing is really resolved! After all that build-up, it starting getting real good and suddenly it ended and I was left like... WHAT???? WHAT HAPPENS NOW???!!!!
This book is amazing.I couldn't put it down!! I know the author and she is an amazing story writer. YOu won't regret buying this.
I liked the story and most of the characters and it has a lot of humour but some of the writing really irritated me. The extensive use of 'yer' and 'ya' and other ways to bring across that people were saying was very distracting. This book is self published I believe and I found it too expensive at $ 14.99.
It's a boy love romance story, however not a typical one because they don't instantly jump into each others pants, as a lot of romances do. Instead this one takes a lot longer as one of the main characters has never had feelings for a man before and finds this whole thing strange.
The story it's self has a few little nicks here and there punctuality wise, and a little of the phrasing is off, but that's something that gains progress the longer a writer is writing.
The story is nice and simple, and an easy and pleasant read with a lot of humour.
The emotional conflicts between the two main characters is well written as it leaves you feeling tense and anxious in a lot of the scenes the same time the characters do, which pulls you in and leaves you with anticipation!
As an avid reader, I was very happy to see this in the store. Why? Well, I am a supporter of the author! Once gifted to me by a mutual acquaintance in physical paper back, I was in love with it then (recent circumstances have led to the loss of the actual novel and I'm highly disappointed in that loss) and still love it now since I have a digital copy to reading during those late nights!
Yes, this was rough around the edges but the mistakes are easy enough to over look! There weren't many, yes but sometimes the sentence flow went off while reading because of these minor errors. (Please forgive my use of the provided Questions, they were rather helpful in writing this review over mobile.)
The characters aren't stereotypical or similar. They are all unique in their own way! There are a few examples of this, yes but that's a point for another day.
What I liked the slow build between the main leads. I /love/ slow build ups to a relationship and Ms Erickson as done such an amazing job with it.
Dislikes the minor errors. Now, they aren't /that/ big, but nevertheless, these mistakes made the sentences sound weird as I read.
Whom I suggest the book to anyone looking to step outside the box. Gay relationships are very rarely written about but this novel doesn't force it on you right away. It explores one character's denial about their sexuality, explores another's problems he has trying to keep a professional work stance with his boss, up until the (quite literal) climax!
Why a four star rating as mentioned earlier, there are minor errors that are easily over looked. If there was a half star rating feature, I assure you this would be four and a half instead.
I'm excited for the next book, Ms Erickson! I can not wait to read the continuing adventures of Koichi and Dominic!
